Description:

Salesforce is seeking a Developer Support Engineer for its Customer Success division in Hyderabad and Bangalore. Rather than standard customer support, this is a code-level engineering role where you will debug synchronous/asynchronous Apex, isolate Lightning Web Component (LWC) anomalies, troubleshoot complex REST/SOAP/Bulk API integration errors, and write sample code or client libraries. You will manage customer expectations under strict SLA timelines while contributing to open-source projects and internal developer knowledge bases.

Key Technical Skills:

Apex (Synchronous & Asynchronous), Lightning Web Components, Aura Framework, Modern JavaScript, REST/SOAP/Bulk APIs, Event-Driven Architecture (Platform Events, Streaming API, CDC), SOQL/SOSL, Visualforce, SFDX/CLI, Metadata API, SSO/Auth Providers, Field Service Lightning

Requirements:

  • B.Tech/BS degree in a technical field (Computer Science, IT, or Electronics preferred) with a strong academic tracking record.
  • 2 to 8 years of professional software engineering, programming, or advanced application tier-3 support experience.
  • Hands-on experience debugging cloud-native architectures including Apex triggers, batch classes, controllers, Aura components, and custom Flows.
  • Deep operational knowledge of web services, handling data mapping payloads over REST/SOAP endpoints, and managing high-volume data integrations via Bulk APIs.
  • Proficiency in writing database queries using SOQL/SOSL within relational frameworks (RDBMS), paired with a solid grasp of web identity controls (SSO, SAML, OAuth).
  • Foundational awareness of internet engineering components including firewalls, proxies, web servers, and event-driven structures like Change Data Capture (CDC).
  • Total willingness to operate 24x7x365 across a non-standard 5-day workweek (e.g., Tue–Sat or Wed–Sun) with a heavy focus on AMER night shifts (ranging from 5:30 PM / 8:30 PM IST onwards depending on Daylight Savings Time).
  • Active Salesforce ecosystem credentials (ADM201 Administrator, ADM211 Advanced Admin, or Platform Developer certifications) and a track record of committing to open-source developer communities.
